Hi, kids! It sure is good to be back. Thanks for your kind words while I was gone. I was about to post the Tip last night, when a violent thunderstorm came through here. Seconds after I shut down my PC as a precaution, there was a lightnining strike nearby and the whole neighborhood lost power. Power was out from 8:15 p.m. until 3:33 a.m. Now I've got to rush off to work, so scroll on down for Today's Tip!
EASY FRUIT SALAD TRICK
Tis the season of more readily available fresh fruit in many parts of the country. Here's a great little tip for keeping your freshly cut fruit from turning brown, and making a great fruit salad at the same time! Simply cut up the fruits of your choice into bite-sized pieces, mix them together in a large bowl, pour straight orange juice over all, and gently toss. Voila! A delicious fruit salad without a heavy, calorie-laden dressing. Try it!
Sounds great and now I am hungry. This works really great. Sometimes I make fruit pizza and keeping the fruit fresh is definitely a goal. Thanks, Pam. So glad you had a great time. I'm happy you are back.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone! A friend gave me the orange juice idea about 10 years ago. So simple and delicious! I don't like fruit salads when people put a thick, fattening dressing on it with ingredients like Cool Whip, marshmallows, etc. - kind of defeats the purpose of the healthful fruit. OJ works great!
Sounds delish Pam! You think Pear juice would work?
