What were your childhood misconceptions? (pregnant, commercial, girls, money)

Mine was that I thought that chocolate milk came from black cows and white milk came from white cows.

Think about it........it made sense to my 4 year old mind

Geez, I honestly don't remember having any. My mother didn't allow me the usual childhood fantasies like Santa or the Easter Bunny.

My only one would be that Mom was human! Lol

I always thought that, if you prayed hard enough, you would get pregnant. They used to have commercials about unwed mothers and I wondered why that was such a bad thing as they were saying. I mean, if God answered your prayer, that's good, right?

I always thought money grew on trees. Parents would always say "what tree do you think that dollar grew on."
