Today's Question(s):
Yesterday we talked about luggage
So have to ask

Have you ever accidentally taken or been given the wrong bag at the airport ? No.
If so did you realize this
Before you left the airport ?
When you got home and opened the bag ?
If it was this one did you "snoop" ?
Bonus Question:
How soon before leaving for a trip do you start packing ? A couple of days before and then I keep adding unneeded stuff. LOL
How about when you get home
Do you unpack right away ? I finally unpacked my suitcase last week from a trip in February. Can you spell L-A-Z-Y?
Extra Credit Question:
Lets talk about speakerphones
Does your main phone have this feature ? No
How about your cell phone ? Yes
Do you use it ? No
Favorite time to use the speakerphone feature ? N/A
Have you ever asked to be taken off speakerphone ? No
Just for Fun:

Today's Question(s):
Yesterday we talked about luggage
So have to ask
Weirdest/strangest thing you have ever brought home in your suitcase ? Australian Customs are extremely fussy about what you can and cannot bring into the country so I've stayed away from anything even remotely weird or strange!
Have you ever accidentally taken or been given the wrong bag at the airport ? Nope - have come close a couple of times though. Black wheelie bags going round and round on a carousel all look identical after a while, especially through jet-lagged eyes, and especially when someone else uses a nearly identical identifying ribbon.
If so did you realize this
Before you left the airport ?
When you got home and opened the bag ?
If it was this one did you "snoop" ?
Bonus Question:
How soon before leaving for a trip do you start packing ? If it's an early flight, the evening before. On the day if it's a later flight, but I usually have a list so I know what to pack.
How about when you get home
Do you unpack right away ? Usually pull out the stuff that needs washing... the rest often stays in the bag on the living room floor for up to a week!
Extra Credit Question:
Lets talk about speakerphones
Does your main phone have this feature ? The main phone that's not working does... but not the old phone I'm using while procrastinating about getting the main phone fixed.
How about your cell phone ? I don't know - never checked!
Do you use it ? I do with the main phone (or would if it was fixed!)
Favorite time to use the speakerphone feature ? Always(I have poor hearing in one ear)
Have you ever asked to be taken off speakerphone ? Only if I want to talk about someone who might be in the room!!
Just for Fun:
Do you have a spare change collection spot at your home ? Yup - but I only offload change from my purse when it gets too heavy.
Happy Hump Day!

Good morning, Karla! Yikes, it sounds steamy and sticky down by you - glad we're only going up to 84 today. This is why I like the Midwest!
Today's Question(s):
Yesterday we talked about luggage
So have to ask
Weirdest/strangest thing you have ever brought home in your suitcase?
Well, not being much of a traveler, it's hard to say. It would probably be the time we traveled to New York City for our foster-daughter's wedding; we stayed at a hotel right at the confluence of Chinatown, Little Italy and Soho, and my spouse insisted on bringing home some goodies he bought at the open-air markets in Chinatown.
Have you ever accidentally taken or been given the wrong bag at the airport?
Nope, can't say that I ever have. But then I avoid traveling by air whenever possible, and I don't think I've flown on a trip more than a handful of times in the past couple of decades.
Bonus Question:
How soon before leaving for a trip do you start packing?
If we're leaving early in the morning, I'll get started the night before. If we're departing later in the day, I start packing the day we leave.
One of the ways that I knew my dad's dementia was progressing was when he let it slip that he had to start packing for a trip a week ahead of time in order to get it all done. He had spent his career in a job that required nearly constant travel, and he could pack his bags in less than ten minutes for most of his career. When he admitted that it took him a week, I knew there were big problems.
How about when you get home
Do you unpack right away?
Always, and I do the laundry right away, too.
<break for breakfast>
Ok, I'm back.
Extra Credit Question:
Lets talk about speakerphones
Does your main phone have this feature?
Yes.
How about your cell phone?
No clue; I use the cell phone as seldom as possible (like once or twice a month, if that), and all I know how to do on it is place and receive calls. We got the "geezer model" the last time we bought a phone, the kind that's got nice big visible numbers and doesn't have all those ridiculous bells and whistles that we don't need or want, so I'm guessing it probably doesn't have a speaker phone function.
Do you use it?
We use the speakerphone on the land line at home occasionally.
Favorite time to use the speakerphone feature?
The only time we use it is to call in prescriptions. The pharmacy we use has an automated refill line, where you can basically punch in numbers to order a refill on a scrip, and we use the speakerphone for that. Since we have a cordless, otherwise it's necessary to put the phone to your ear, listen to the prompt, take the phone away to punch in numbers, put the phone back to your ear, take it away to punch in more numbers, etc. The speakerphone just makes the process easier.
Have you ever asked to be taken off speakerphone?
No, people don't usually call me from a speakerphone, unless it's a preplanned business conference call where I expect it anyway.
And that automated prescription refill machine doesn't seem to mind being on speakerphone at all.
Just for Fun:
Do you have a spare change collection spot at your home?
Yup, the spouse keeps a quart-sized Mason jar on his dresser and dumps all his spare change in there at the end of the day. When it gets full, he hauls it to the bank to exchange for folding currency.
Funny thing about that jar. Used to be when our daughter still lived at home, the spouse would take the jar to the bank and the total would be maybe $30 or $40. Now that she's moved out, when he takes the jar in, the total is usually closer to $80 or $90. For some reason, we find a whole lot more dimes and quarters in the jar, now that she's no longer home and fishing for busfare!
