Are they easy to find or does it involve a lot of searching ? No...all tools are to be displayed in a precise military manner....one must not stray from this or there will be dire circumstances...don't know what they are becuase I just hand them back to his toolness and he puts them back.

Thanks Karla!

Today's Question(s):
Inspired by Patscats answer in yesterdays QOTD

Have you ever set an alarm clock or timer to remind yourself to do something ?
I used to in the days before oven timers... I had one of those wind-up round bedside clocks that only offered a bell alarm. In the days when it took me three hours to get ready to go out on a Saturday night, I'd set it for 15 minutes before I needed to leave.

Did it work ?
Yup - hard to miss the racket those old clocks made!

Bonus Question:
in honor of Tape Measure Day

How many tape measures do you have in your home ?
2 normal tape measures, plus one retractable tape measure for woodworking, measuring room sizes etc.

How many rulers ?
Two I think

Are they easy to find or does it involve a lot of searching ?
One of the tape measures, the retractable measure and the two rules are right in in my desk drawer. The other tape measure is in my never-used sewing basket.

What was the last thing you measured ?
My waist - I was watching Dr. Oz. I just fit into the 'ok' category if I squeezed everything in and pulled the measure tight.

Extra Credit Question:

'Rita the Retail Fairy" is stopping by to bring you a once in a lifetime chance to work in Retail

Which of the following Retail experiences would you be best at:
(Remember working there would entitle you to a 30% discount)
Clothing ?
Jewelry ?
Home Improvement ?
This one
Decorating ?
And this one
Gardening & landscaping ?
Sporting Goods ?
Other ?

lol Just for Fun:

Today's word was just to "Odd" not to have a replay of yesterdays

Use Today's word in a sentence ?

I am claiming usufruct to graze my sheep in your field (I dunno, that doesn't sound right, but it's the best I can do this late at night)!

Did you try an pronounce today's word ?
Yup, and it sounds rude!

lol if so was it our loud or to yourself ?
Just to myself as I was eating chocolate at the time and it's rude to talk and eat at the same time!

Happy Thursday everyone.

Whee - I get to answer two days in a row! Thanks, Karla, and have a great day today!

Today's Question(s):
Inspired by Patscats answer in yesterdays QOTD

Have you ever set an alarm clock or timer to remind yourself to do something?

I've done that as a way of reminding myself to take (or administer) medication when it's necessary to take it on a strict schedule.

Did it work?

It usually works pretty well, assuming that I'm going to be home to hear the alarm.

Bonus Question:
in honor of Tape Measure Day

How many tape measures do you have in your home?

We've got at least three construction-type tape measures (the metal kind in the case that you use to measure a room or lumber before cutting) and I've got several sewing tape measures as well.

How many rulers?

There's one on the spouse's workbench.

Are they easy to find or does it involve a lot of searching?

They'd all be pretty easy to find. They're either on the spouse's workbench or in my sewing box, depending on the type.

What was the last thing you measured?

You know, I'm not sure. It might have been the windows when we replaced the living room curtains last winter.

Extra Credit Question:

'Rita the Retail Fairy" is stopping by to bring you a once in a lifetime chance to work in Retail

Which of the following Retail experiences would you be best at:
(Remember working there would entitle you to a 30% discount)
Clothing?
Jewelry?
Home Improvement?
Decorating?
Gardening & landscaping?
Sporting Goods?
Other?

Well, I do work for a retailer, but not in sales, which I assume is what the question is about. I'd be horrible at any kind of sales job; I'm just not a people person, and that's what a successful salesperson needs to be. If I absolutely had to sell something, I'd probably choose books or classical music.

lol Just for Fun:

Today's word was just to "Odd" not to have a replay of yesterdays

Use Today's word in a sentence?

Our neighbors enjoy the usufructuary right to shade from our maple tree.

Did you try and pronounce today's word?

Didn't need to, I knew it.
