Today's Question(s):
What was the last "test" you took ?
An online typing test - just for the heck of it! I'm slower than I used to be, and rather less accurate too.
Are you a good "test taker" ? I haven't taken any real tests in years, but was hopeless at school tests - perhaps because my study habits weren't the best.
Do you prefer:
Multiple choice ? I don't recall many of these at my school - too easy to guess the answer!
Fill in the blank ? These would be quicker
Essay Questions ? These are good when you have no clue... provided you're able to waffle on to make it look like you know what you're talking about.
Which would you be better at taking:
Written tests ? This, I guess
or
Oral tests ?
Bonus Question:
Do you call it:
Dinner or Supper ? Dinner
What time do you normally eat dinner /supper ? Somewhere between 7 and 8 pm
If you are going out do you eat earlier or later than normal ? Later by choice - but in country towns, restaurants tend to close early, so a booking after about 7.30 can result in the kitchen closing while you're still deciding what to have.
Extra Credit Question:
Are you a Chicken Wings fan ? Not especially
Do you prefer:
Plain ? This...
Mild ? ...or this
Medium ?
Woooo knock your socks off hot ?
Just for fun:
When it comes to making pies
Home made crust ?
or
Premade crusts ? My pasty making skills are sorely lacking.
Can you tel the difference ? Oh for sure!
Which do you like better
Regular crust ? I like puff pastry best
or
Graham cracker crusts ? I don't think I've ever had this, except perhaps as a base for a dessert pie.
Edited to add that I presumed you were talking about savoury pies - meat, or veggies, or fish - but now I remember Americans don't seem to be big savoury pie eaters!
Well, the weekend is here for me... one more working day for you guys. Have a good one!

Good morning, Karla & friends! It's been a crazy week, and I need to stop in and decompress before I dive into another marathon day. Glad you got the questions posted!
Today's Question(s):
What was the last "test" you took?
It was an exam that was part of a continuing education class for my profession.
Are you a good "test taker"?
I guess so; I usually seem to do well at them.
Do you prefer:
Multiple choice?
Fill in the blank?
Essay Questions?
I love to write (no surprise there!) so I generally prefer essay questions.
Which would you be better at taking:
Written tests?
or
Oral tests?
Oh, definitely written - I tend to get tang-tongueled when I speak.
Bonus Question:
Do you call it:
Dinner or Supper?
Well, that depends. If we are hosting a big family gathering for a holiday or celebratory meal, I call it dinner. If it's just my spouse and me with a bowl of soup and a sandwich, that's supper.
What time do you normally eat dinner /supper?
That depends on how crazy work is. At this time of year, maybe 8:30 or 9:00 p.m. When things are a little calmer, it's closer to 6:30 or 7:00.
If you are going out do you eat earlier or later than normal?
No, generally about the same time.
Extra Credit Question:
Are you a Chicken Wings fan?
Not really.
Just for fun:
When it comes to making pies
Home made crust? Only this!! And I make a darn good piecrust, too, if I do say so myself. I've been drafting a "Piecrust primer for the pastry novice" thread for a long time now; if I can arrange a time with a family member to stand by with the camera some day, I'll post it over in the Food forum.
or
Premade crusts? Gaaak.... nasty, artificial, cardboard-tasting stuff. No thanks!
Can you tell the difference? Oh, you'd better believe it!
Which do you like better
Regular crust? I use this for fruit pies (and yes, Nomadicus, I do remember to put the sugar in blueberry pies - at least most of the time!) and things like pecan pies and fudge pies and pumpkin pies.
or
Graham cracker crusts? I prefer this for tart pies like key lime or lemon, and for cheesecakes.

What was the last "test" you took ? that depends if you mean a real test or just something that felt like one
Are you a good "test taker" ? no - i get too anxious
Do you prefer: that depends on the subject - essay if I actually do know the subject, otherwise multiple choice. Not keen on fill in the blank - hell I skip them here half the time!
Multiple choice ?
Fill in the blank ?
Essay Questions ?
Which would you be better at taking:
Written tests ? yup
or
Oral tests ?
Do you call it:
Dinner or Supper ? dinner
What time do you normally eat dinner /supper ? totally varies - after 5 and before 10
If you are going out do you eat earlier or later than normal ? doesn't make a difference
Are you a Chicken Wings fan ? meh
Do you prefer:
Plain ?
Mild ?
Medium ?
Woooo knock your socks off hot ? yup
When it comes to making pies as long as someone else is baking i won't be too picky
Home made crust ?
or
Premade crusts ?
Can you tell the difference ? often, yes. Nothing can compare to a really good home made crust. On the other hand, some packaged crusts are preferable to certain people's home made ones.
Which do you like better depends on the pie but usually regular
Regular crust ?
or
Graham cracker crusts ?

Today's Question(s):

I can hold my own
Do you prefer:
Multiple choice ? We have a winner
Fill in the blank ? Yuck

I can eat them any way with the exception of the ones that are sooooooo hot you cannot feel your lips after the first bite
