I knew of an OB-GYN who's last name was Beaver. Even worse his first name was Harold but they called him Harry.

I remember waiting on him when I worked at a bank in Indy. I also remember cracking up when I saw his name. Thank goodness he was in the drive-thru so he couldn't see me as I hid behind a wall.

The double or triple name thing is common in Russian and Farsi. Names like Ivan Ivanovich Ivanov, Pyotr Petrovich Petrov. And when I was entering names into a database for my job, I came across a lot of people with names like Mohammad Mohammadi, Reza Rezayi, Aziz Azizi or Azizollah Azizi. I came across other just strange names like a Ms. Iran (as in the country) and once I came across a Mr. Daneshgah (daneshgah means "university").

Navy boot camp-------while doing morning roll car ( alphabetically) the last names " Finger" and "Foelker" got called every morning and every morning the company commander made an obscene gesture as he barked out those 2 names in rapid order.
