Ah yeah, and my mom used to work at a school with a kid called Dwayne Pipe. If I was him, the second I turned 18 I'd be off to the Citizens' Advice Bureau to enquire about getting a new name.

Those unique quarterback names are quite interesting! You can add Joe Montana, Y.A. Tittle, Johnny Unitas, Ken Stabler and Jim Plunkett to the list for me. Maybe a unique name is the secret to being a great QB!
Here's a name that starts out all nice and smooth: Lilli- (ooh - it's a pretty flower!)
and then gets mired a bit with - crap (Ooh, it's that stuff that helps them to grow!)
LilliCRAP! There's a few in my local phone book, but I've never met them. Maybe Verizon has a sense of humor and is just playin' with us.
Ooh - and speaking of hockey players - How about the Sabre's Miroslav SATAN!?! Oh, my mistake, he's with the Islanders now.

Although legend states that the Hoggs also had a daughter named Ura, that allegation is false.

Don't forget Chuck Long. Now he had the ultimate quarterback's name if ever I heard one.

Kosar and Namath are not unusual names - in Hungary, at least (Bernie and Joe are both of Hungarian descent). My uncle by marriage is Nemeth (the un-Anglicized spelling). Nemeth means 'German', and Kosar means 'basket'.
