Growing up we had a friend named Bob Loblaw. Say it really fast, sounds like Blah, Blah, Blah!!
Or the farmer guy from Saskatchewan who was on David Letterman a few years back because of his unusual name. It was Richard Assman. He went by the name Dick.
Why do parent do it!?!

There was a guy in high school named Richard Horney - and yes, he went by "Dick." I also knew a guy with the last name Ho, and he dated a girl named Mai (pronounced "my")... if they'd gotten married, her name would have become Mai Ho.

Allow me to introduce you to my wife, Mai Ho...I'm giggling!
About ten years ago I worked at a terminal where we had to electronically update proofs of delivery, so we were typing upwards of 100 names a day each. The best one I saw was Dick Stump - if I were him I would have stuck with Richard, or changed the last name altogether!
