{{{{ What }}}} there’s no warranty on guns that cause harm or death to people! What type of manufacture would produce such a product and allow that to happen?

If an elderly lady can have a lawsuit against McDonalds for hot coffee burning her lap, then why can’t a young man with a loaded gun stuck in his pants who shot him in his penis sue Smith & Wesson (or the manufacture) for selling such a product?

What is this world coming to?

I suppose if there is a material defect in the product and one suffers harm as a result, he would have legitimate grounds to sue the manufacturer. IF being the operative word.
