Woohoo - I got lucky today and checked for this thread on the off-chance that Karla was up and about very early!

Today's Question(s):

in honor of Woodstock Day

Do you know anyone who attended ?
I met someone when travelling a few years ago who said he was there. But I don't know anyone personally.

If you could go back in time would you want to attended ?
I wanted to go at the time - unfortunately I was living in England!

Bonus Question:

Speaking of going back in time, which of the following things in the past would of enjoyed being at in person:

When they took down the Berlin Wall ?
I would have enjoyed being there for this
The inauguration of a President(which one) ?
Nope - happy to watch highlights on TV
Martin Luther Kings "I Have A Dream Speech ?
I have seen that so many times, I feel like I was there!
Man's first walk on the moon ?
Definitely no desire to be there in person - too scary!
When Columbus discovered America ?
That might have been fun!
VE Day in New York City ?
I would have loved to have been there for that, except that would mean I would have had to have lived through the war... so perhaps not.
Other ?

Extra Credit Question:

Have you ever "cleaned out" the bookmarks on your computer ?
Yup - but I don't do it often enough.

Did you just take a look at them and say to yourself "I really need to delete some of them ?
I say that at least once a day.

How about now ?
Nope - don't feel like it right now!

Inquiring Minds Question:

Have you ever told, emailed or texted one of the more interesting or unusual "Today in History" to someone ?
Not that I recall though I may have mentioned one or two in passing if I've had a friend staying.

Just for Fun:

Have you ever been on a trampoline ?
Yes, but not in years and years.

Do you know anyone who has one in their backyard ?
Nope

My Monday is just about done - welcome to yours!

Today's Question(s):
in honor of Woodstock Day

Do you know anyone who attended ?

Some who say they did but who knows if this is really true.

If you could go back in time would you want to attend ?

I don't think so. I tend to get bored at concerts after about 2 hours, no matter how much I like the band, and you can only walk around and "groove" so much.

Bonus Question:

Speaking of going back in time, which of the following things in the past would of enjoyed being at in person:

When they took down the Berlin Wall ?
The inauguration of a President(which one) ?
Martin Luther Kings "I Have A Dream Speech ?
Man's first walk on the moon ?
When Columbus discovered America ?
VE Day in New York City ?
Other ?

I've been to quite a few of the recent inaugurations

Extra Credit Question:

Have you ever "cleaned out" the bookmarks on your computer ?

Yes, regularly.

How about now ?

Inquiring Minds Question:

Have you ever told, emailed or texted one of the more interesting or unusual "Today in History" to someone ?

Nope, although maybe I will now that you've put the idea in my head. But I do share the "Days" (Gorilla Day, Banana Day, whatever)

Just for Fun:

Have you ever been on a trampoline ?

Do you know anyone who has one in their backyard ?

Lots of people have them here. I guess we're just a bouncy sort of place.

that's a shame Karla No Monday should start by having to get up and go to work. That's one of the great joys of being retired. I plan absolutely nothing for Monday's

Today's Question(s):
in honor of Woodstock Day

Do you know anyone who attended ?
no, I don't believe I have ever run into anyone who has

If you could go back in time would you want to attend ?
old-age and common sense tells me no. But back in 69, when I was 24, I would have probably gone.

Other ?
I must be getting old. I can't think of anything that I really think I would like to be at in person. Well, there is my daily naptime

Extra Credit Question:

Have you ever "cleaned out" the bookmarks on your computer ?
yes

Did you just take a look at them and say to yourself "I really need to delete some of them ?
I'm more likely to wonder why I bookmarked it the first place

How about now ?

Inquiring Minds Question:

Have you ever told, emailed or texted one of the more interesting or unusual "Today in History" to someone ?
Not today in history but my grandson every time he talks to me once to know what day today is. I have to confess if I haven't read the question of the day yet. I'll make something up

Just for Fun:

Have you ever been on a trampoline ?
no, I have never had a burning desire to break bones.

Do you know anyone who has one in their backyard ?
no

Bookmarks? I don't have very many at all, everything I go to most often is an icon on the home screen.
I've been on trampolines, in fact one was part of my gymnastics class in high school.
If I went back in time for any reason at all, it may have an effect on how things are now so as much as I'd like to say yes, have to say no.
I love angel food cake and bring on the 'I love cowboys and cowgirls day' here. Please no dillusional wanna be's, the real thing.
