Colors play a huge role in our lives whether we realize it or not....nature, advertising, foods, paints, cars, books, etc.

Just one color and why you think it is your favorite.

For me:

GREEN...color of asparagus and broccoli, shrubs and trees, luna moths, frogs, snakes and green herons...a nature color.

OK....what about you?

I usually can't pick a favorite on anything, but I have to admit my favorite color has to be pale aqua. Blue-green, green-blue; like that.

Sorry to break the trend but my favorite color is orange. I'm a summer baby and have always been drawn to this sunny, happy color. In fact, when I was just three years old my mom let me choose what color to paint my bedroom. Yep - bright, sunkist orange. My grandmother thought my mom was a loon to let a toddler make a choice like that but I still love the color and my childhood bedroom is still painted orange, as is a room in my current home.

Your mom did the right thing. I would enjoy decorating a room painted orange. I imagine yellows and greens with a bold touch of red and a splash of black here and there!
