"A former general manager of the Park Lane Hotel won $11.2 million when a judge found Mrs. Helmsley had dismissed him because of his being gay. The ruling was reduced to $554,000, but she also had to pay his $638,000 in legal expenses."
Stupid, narrow-minded, right-winger! Good for her! How dare she fire someone based upon his sexual orientation! Do I have the right to turn down an employee because they're Jewish or Asian? Nope. Why did she think she was above the law? You won't see me shedding any tears over her passing. One less prejudiced right-winger for me to worry about. |

This is why we need to get gay folks covered by the laws against hate speech, for many reasons, also to help dry up the torrent of money sent to James Dobson and Rev Ted types who prey on people's stupid fears.

She was more then just an angry ugly person on the outside! Her passing will never be missed or thought of the day after the dirt is tossed onto her. There was never a kind word about her from anyone who did or didn’t know her. I have heard too many stories of how she screwed others out of money and made life miserable for them.
