What was the cheapest gas price you can remember? What year was that?

The cheapest gas I remember was back in the early 80's. I think it was about $1 per gallon, maybe slightly less.

Today's Question(s):
You can thank God for one thing in your life, what will it be?

It clearly would be for bringing me and my DP together.

Bonus Food Question:
Other than pizza and Gina, what is a favorite Italian dish? I love spaghetti with Boulanaise sauce....but I love almost all pasta......eg with white clam sauce etc etc etc.

Extra Credit Question:
Where and when did you last feel out of place?

I used to be much more insecure and knew that feeling only too well.......maturity heals lots of woes.....but recently while in Japan and in a hot bath in our hotel with my partner.....a group of younger guys....on a company paid business meeting....came into the bath.....they all knew each other.....and altho friendly enough.....and conversing with each other and my DP.....I did feel "out of place"......as I was the only non-Japanese speaking person there.

Bonus Bonus Extra Extra Credit Question
What was the cheapest gas price you can remember? What year was that?

I dont recall but I remember in 1958...gas was cheap.....and they pumped the gas, washed the windshield for you, checked the oil and tire pressure and gave "green stamps" and gifts along with a fill up.

Last Sunday we had a special service for bikers hosted by Christian Motorcycle Assoc. I was one of the few there not wearing leathers or sporting tattoos.
CMA Sunday at our church was 2 weeks ago. We were really out of place, or rather "out of THE place", as we were out of town visiting the kids that weekend. It seemed that the bikers were quite comfortable though, with our mainstream Protestant congregation in our church building that was built in 1859.
