Hello everyone. I'm late again, been out with Judy booking a as Vegas trip for next
April for Judy and her mummy(!). Been out twice because Judy could'nt make a decision
without conferring with her mum first. Yes, now, family in the military. My uncle was in
the English army during the second world war. He was captured by the germans at Dunkirk
in 1940. Spent five years as a prisoner. Judy's dad was badly injured fighting the germans
in north Africa in 1941, spent a couple of years in hospital. Her uncle was a prisoner of the
japanese, took prisoner in 1942. He suffered greatly under them. I was in the English army
from 1970-74. Our day for old soldiers is called Rememberance Sunday, always nearest to the
11th. So this Sunday there will be parades all over the United Kingdom. The main one being
in London attended by the Queen.
