Today's Question(s):

Is the house/apartment you are now living in larger or smaller than the one you lived in while growing up ?

Smaller but then again it's just me living here in an apartment not a family of 4living in a house.

How about the City or Town where you are currently living ?

The town I live in now is huge area-wise at approximately 92 square miles so while there are more people living here (about 29,000), the population density (number of people per square mile) is very, very low (315 people per square mile). Lower than any other place I've ever lived in by quite a big amount. The place I grew up in was 10 square miles (current population density 5,357.3 per square mile) and the place I lived in before this was only 5 square miles (current population density 3,998 per square mile).

Extra Credit Question:

When was the thing you tried doing that had you saying "Well that looked like it would a lot more fun or a lot easier ?

Hanging a new shower curtain (when you are short).

Bonus Question:

Do you prefer a
"Sweet breakfast" pancakes/waffles syrup etc ?
or a
"Savory breakfast" eggs,bacon,sausage etc ?

Which was the last one you had ?

I prefer cold cereal to either of the two above. I can't remember how long ago it was that I had a big breakfast. Has to be more than a year.

Just for Fun:

Have you ever had Vichyssoise ?

if so are you a "fan" ?

No and no but I'm not really a big soup eater, either.

Good morning Karla, good to see you here this morning and we'd like to see you on the QOTD more often.

Today's Question(s):

Is the house/apartment you are now living in larger or smaller than the one you lived in while growing up ? - Hmmm... I spent more time in the doghouse lately so it's smaller.. - My house is larger than the first house I grew up in, but slightly smaller than the second house, which my parents are still living in.

How about the City or Town where you are currently living ? - Phoenix has grown tremendously since I was a kid.

Extra Credit Question:

When was the thing you tried doing that had you saying "Well that looked like it would a lot more fun or a lot easier ? - I don't know about "Fun", but the healing and recovering from the fractured right knee cap has not been easy, it's something that should have taken only 6 weeks, but it's been over 6 months now!

Bonus Question:

Do you prefer a
"Sweet breakfast" pancakes/waffles syrup etc ?
or a
"Savory breakfast" eggs,bacon,sausage etc ?
Well.. the only "sweet stuff" I'd like to have with me for breakfast is a sweet and decent woman I'm married to.. - Being a type 1 diabetic, I can't have anything that contains any sugars or high in starches, and whenever I make scrambled eggs, I only add swiss cheese, parsley, and sometimes mushrooms.

Which was the last one you had ? - Scrambled eggs, but no sausage or bacon.

Just for Fun:

Have you ever had Vichyssoise ? - Vichyssoise? Is that a food? If I can't pronounce it, I won't eat it... and no... don't give it to Mikey to try it because he probably won't like it....

if so are you a "fan" ? - Nah.. I'm a Man..

Today's Question(s):

Is the house/apartment you are now living in larger or smaller than the one you lived in while growing up ?
Bigger. We've got 3 bedrooms now, instead of the 2 we had in the house I grew up in.

How about the City or Town where you are currently living ?
For the next few days, I'm in the town I grew up in. It's much bigger now.

Extra Credit Question:

When was the thing you tried doing that had you saying "Well that looked like it would a lot more fun or a lot easier ?
Painting gutters. Thought it would be easier til the warm weather hit.

Bonus Question:

Do you prefer a
"Sweet breakfast" pancakes/waffles syrup etc ?
or a
"Savory breakfast" eggs,bacon,sausage etc - This one. Much more satisfying, and longer lasting. I really don't find sweet breakfasts satisfying at all, maybe for 20 minutes, then I start craving some protein.

Which was the last one you had ?
Savoury - toasted baguette with goat cheese and prosciutto.

Just for Fun:

Have you ever had Vichyssoise ?
Yes.
if so are you a "fan" ?
Not a fan of the traditional cold version. I've made something similar but served it hot without as much cream and liked it better.

Today's Question(s):

Is the house/apartment you are now living in larger or smaller than the one you lived in while growing up ?

House and city are both larger. The metro area I lived in while growing up was the same one I live in now, and it was significantly smaller back then.

Extra Credit Question:

When was the thing you tried doing that had you saying "Well that looked like it would a lot more fun or a lot easier ?

Trying to get someone who was obviously BSing me to admit that his argument was made up out of thin air.

Bonus Question:

Which was the last one you had ?

I like Cheerios and sliced apples.

Just for Fun:

Have you ever had Vichyssoise ?

if so are you a "fan" ?

I don't think I've had it. I try to eat simple foods.
