After much procrastination I can not stall any more so onto...

Sunday's Questions:

When it comes to making paper airplanes...
-Mine can fly from one town to another
-Mine fly several hundred feet
-Mine sometimes make it across the room
-Mine fly further if I wad the paper into a ball and toss it
-Mine fall straight to the floor no matter what I do.
-What me make a paper airplane. Like that ever happened.

-Have you ever gotten into a rubberband fight?

-Name something that is round.

-Name something that is not round.

QOTD Airlines is now in business and has several openings. What opening will you apply for?

-Have you ever volunteered to do a task that sounded fun only to find out it was not any fun?

-When eating at a restaurant do you play it safe and always order something you know you will like or do you try things you have never had before?

-Do you keep spare shoelaces on hand or wait until a lace breaks to buy a new one?

-While growing up, or even now, have you ever owned a black-light poster?

-Do you own a lava lamp?

-Mine can fly from one town to another
-Mine fly several hundred feet
-Mine sometimes make it across the room <<< Only if the teachers aren't looking
-Mine fly further if I wad the paper into a ball and toss it
-Mine fall straight to the floor no matter what I do.
-What me make a paper airplane. Like that ever happened.

-Have you ever gotten into a rubberband fight? Only in grade school and high school and with my next door neighbor last week, and when the SWAT police came to the front door.

-Name something that is round. Zero

-Name something that is not round. Box

QOTD Airlines is now in business and has several openings. What opening will you apply for?

-Obnoxious passenger
-Really obnoxious passenger being led off the plane in handcuffs
-Other US Marshall (what ever happened to them on the airlines, never hear about them anymore?)

-Have you ever volunteered to do a task that sounded fun only to find out it was not any fun? While in the service I always volunteered - that way I could "pick" what I wanted and not get some $h!t job tossed at me................ Some of those "other" jobs were not pleasant.

-When eating at a restaurant do you play it safe and always order something you know you will like or do you try things you have never had before? I always play it safe and order something I like. Many of the items listed on the menu are totally crazy sounding.

-Do you keep spare shoelaces on hand or wait until a lace breaks to buy a new one? Don't have an spares,,,, and I can't remember when any lace broke.

-While growing up, or even now, have you ever owned a black-light poster? Oh - that's what I was missing, I needed a black-light to go along with the poster.

-Do you own a lava lamp? Only once many many years ago.

Yep, and I have a little tip to make those rubber bands fly straight: don't pull the rubber band straight back. Pull the rubber band such that there is more tension on one side. That way the loop will spin when it is released and fly on a straight path. (did that sound geeky? )

Yeah, work on a farm.

I order the stranger things on the menu, often at a price.

-Do you keep spare shoelaces on hand or wait until a lace breaks to buy a new one?
Running shoe laces never break.

-While growing up, or even now, have you ever owned a black-light poster?
Um...yeah.

-Do you own a lava lamp?
Nope

-Mine can fly from one town to another
-Mine fly several hundred feet
-Mine sometimes make it across the room
-Mine fly further if I wad the paper into a ball and toss it

-What me make a paper airplane. Like that ever happened.
Funny you should mention paper airplanes. One of my former coworkers, John Collins, was obsessed with origami paper planes. He folded them at work all the time and tested them in the cavernous TV studios. Then he wrote a book about them, The Gliding Flight. There were two sequels, and a few years ago he was in the national news for breaking the Guinness World Record for distance.

-Have you ever gotten into a rubberband fight?
Yes, with my brother when we were kids.

-Name something that is round.
A Frisbee.

-Name something that is not round.
A shoe.

-Have you ever volunteered to do a task that sounded fun only to find out it was not any fun?
I volunteered to balance a friend's checking account. I went through four or five years of bank statements and a bottle of Wite-Out trying to make sense out of her check register.

-When eating at a restaurant do you play it safe and always order something you know you will like or do you try things you have never had before?
I've done both, but I'm more likely to order something I know I like.

-Do you keep spare shoelaces on hand or wait until a lace breaks to buy a new one?
I keep spares on hand.

-While growing up, or even now, have you ever owned a black-light poster?
No, I never have. When I was young and single I dated guys who had them in their bedrooms, though. One I particularly remember was an illustration showing twelve different sexual positions, one for each of the 12 signs of the Zodiac.

-Do you own a lava lamp?
No, but I think they're pretty cool.

Thanks, Alaskan Mutt!
