-Have you ever volunteered to do a task that sounded fun only to find out it was not any fun? While in the service I always volunteered - that way I could "pick" what I wanted and not get some $h!t job tossed at me................ Some of those "other" jobs were not pleasant.
-When eating at a restaurant do you play it safe and always order something you know you will like or do you try things you have never had before? I always play it safe and order something I like. Many of the items listed on the menu are totally crazy sounding.

Pull the rubber band such that there is more tension on one side. That way the loop will spin when it is released and fly on a straight path. (did that sound geeky? )

-What me make a paper airplane. Like that ever happened. Funny you should mention paper airplanes. One of my former coworkers, John Collins, was obsessed with origami paper planes. He folded them at work all the time and tested them in the cavernous TV studios. Then he wrote a book about them, The Gliding Flight. There were two sequels, and a few years ago he was in the national news for breaking the Guinness World Record for distance.
