Today's Question(s):

Is there anything particular you're looking forward to/hoping to do in the new year (taking a trip, learning a new hobby, conquering...something, etc.)? I'm looking forward to the following:
Meeting the man that I will marry so I can wed on 12/12/12
Getting more in shape and eating healthier
Spending more time with friends and outside hobbies/volunteer work
Possibly a summer trip to Eastern Canada or even Europe ...

What is the most memorable moment of 2011 for you? This year passed in such a blur but graduating from Bible College in June and the nice banquet that we all attended were great memories.

Extra Credit:

Can you say the pledge of allegiance from memory? Yup ... Just confirmed it

Do you know the lyrics to the national anthem? Uh ... ummm .... No ...

Bonus:

What is something that you think should be on everyone's bucket list? Traveling abroad and seeing more of the world.

Is there something on your list that you're not sure will ever be crossed off?

Today's Question(s):
Is there anything particular you're looking forward to/hoping to do in the new year (taking a trip, learning a new hobby, conquering...something, etc.)? I'm hoping for a vacation in 2012. If I can't have a travel vacation, even a week off work and at home would be okay. I really need a break.

What is the most memorable moment of 2011 for you? Unfortunately, the most memorable moments were not good ones because they involved family health crises. A HAPPY highlight was when I sang my favorite aria in a voice recital in January. I was in heaven!

Extra Credit:
Can you say the pledge of allegiance from memory? Of course!
Do you know the lyrics to the national anthem? Of course!

Bonus:
What is something that you think should be on everyone's bucket list? A bucket list is a very personal thing. I wouldn't presume to tell someone else what should be on their want list!
Is there something on your list that you're not sure will ever be crossed off? Yes; a trip to Europe.

Today is:
National Chocolate Day Yay! It's all about CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!!!!!
Pledge of Allegiance Day Yay!

Happy hump day, everybody!

Hope everyone has a happy new year. Let's hope so. Thanks for today's question, spinx

Today's Question(s):

Is there anything particular you're looking forward to/hoping to do in the new year (taking a trip, learning a new hobby, conquering...something, etc.)?

All those things. I am taking a trip, I signed up for French classes, I do need to conquer my C-D addiction and shoe addiction. I have an endless list for the new year. Kick a couple of things off of my bucket list, for sure.

What is the most memorable moment of 2011 for you? I went on a two and one-half hour ride in a hot air balloon. It rocked!!
Extra Credit:

Can you say the pledge of allegiance from memory? Uh, no..I do know parts of it. "I Pledge Allegiance to the Flag"

Do you know the lyrics to the national anthem? Actually I do know the words to The Star Bangled Banner, and of course, "Oh Canada" which is the national anthem of my home..

Bonus:

What is something that you think should be on everyone's bucket list? I think everyone's bucket list is theirs and theirs alone.

Is there something on your list that you're not sure will ever be crossed off?

I would have to think about that.

Maybe I will take a real vacation and go somewhere I have not been before.

What is the most memorable moment of 2011 for you?
Sadly, it was the loss of my mom.

Extra Credit:

Can you say the pledge of allegiance from memory?
Why yes I can

Do you know the lyrics to the national anthem?
Sorta kinda but not really. The words sort of come and go when I try to think of them. It is like your phone number or home address...if you do not think about them you can rattle them off without any problem. As soon as you think about them your mind goes blank.

Bonus:

What is something that you think should be on everyone's bucket list?
Visit Alaska.

Is there something on your list that you're not sure will ever be crossed off?
I have been planning a trip to the Aleutian Islands for many years. Not sure if it will ever actually happen.
