Good News All....
Well as you all know, I was given word that my contract ends the end of Sept at my current location.
I love this job, the crew I work with. And the atmosphere. But they screwed me with the timeframe I was supposed to be here for.
So I sent out my resume to all the websites that I can find that has open job openings. I landed a interview yesterday as you all know. Which went fairly well with the supervisor, and the manager. At the end of the interview, you end up hearing from the manager, "well thank you for your time. This is just the beginning process and we have more to interview but we will make our decision soon".
So I left thinking, damn what did I say that didnt land this job or what I didn't say. So I just had a positive outlook on this.
I just got off the phone with the manager, and they WANT ME TO START with there company in 1 1/2 week. WOOOHHOOOOOO
Its Closer to home, except when I have to go to NYC to the other site once or twice here and there...And the pay is more..
Bad thing is, theres no end date on my contract. But hey i was told it will def be for 6months at the least...by then, things can change as usual.
Thank you to all that supported me when I needed it.
