Good morning peevers.

I'm off to the dentist today and I know that he'll have to do some work as a filling has come loose.

Dentists really don't concern me but I know that they do concern some people.

Today's peeve;

Visiting the dentist.

Well the only time going to the dentist is a drag is when you know there is something wrong

I was there recently and thats not my peeve...its when you dont have dental insurance and they dont give people who have to pay cash some type of a break.

The worst things about going to a dentist is finding an honorable dentist/dental clinic when new to an area. Work in the mouth doesn't feel good but I can deal with it.

I feel the same when I shop.........they always want you to use store credit cards rather than cash for a discount. Not fair at all for those of us who like to pay rather than purchase on credit.

Actually I LOVE going to the dentist. Call me crazy but I have the best dentist for the last 18 years....he is the most trustworthy dentist I have ever met. I remember asking for teeth whitening that cost 500.00 and he said, no! Your teeth are white!! That is a good quality dentist! I have lived in two other states and always flew in for my 6 month cleanings when I lived out of state!!! He had a few patients do that also! I wish I could get my teeth cleaned more than 2x a year!! LOL.

On the other hand, I used to HATE the dentist. I went to a woman dentist who saw money signs in her eyes when I came in for dental work! She knew I had excellent insurance and took advantage! She caused me undue stress by doing a root canal that ended up having 2 canals that were never filled and one shottily half done!! It cost me 1500.00 for a re-treat to FIX her incompetence! The endodontist asked me "was she sleeping when she did this root canal"!!? This dentist was an EPIC FAIL!

I hate paying them!! My gosh, is it too late to go to school and be a dentist? 95.00 for a cleaning and he comes in for 2 seconds and says, yep looks good!!
