In the recent The Week magazine, there was an article about a toilet-themed restaurant that opened in Beijing China. The eatery, named the Sh--house, served a range of Asian dishes inspired by the lavatorial experience, which are presented to diners in replica toilets and bedpans.
"We were discussing one of the worst restaurants we'd ever eaten in and one of us said it was a real toilet," said owner Feng Lu. "So we decided to see if we could make a restaurant that was one big toilet. We can't believe how successful it's been, and now we're talking about opening a chain of them."
So! If one of these chain restaurants comes to the U.S., would you eat at one of these? Eating your soup out of a replica toilet bowl or bedpan?

Sorry, but a diarrhea special just doesn't appeal to me. Nor would a childs poop soup. And appetizers known as farts simply would not fly. Upchuck roast doesn't seem viable either. Lets not even go to pea soup. I'm not fussy, but I would insist on either names I don't understand/speak the language, or something somewhat more appealing.
Probably a fun place to go. I they would sell quality food, and interesting dishes I most likely would go and try.
Its required to sit on the pots with pants down??
I don't do "theme restaurants". To me themes are for people who prefer style over substance and when it comes to food I thinkt he food should come first. Gimmicks just do not cut it with me.
I might be missing out on the experience of a lifetime but the only time I have been dragged ( against my will ) to any themed eating places the food has been second rate. I would rather someone thought about the food than the theme to be honest.
I'd go there just to take a look but i would nit eat there. The word poop on a menu is not appealing. I've watched andrew zimmern in China and I could never eat there.

Probably not.
