No I don't think it's odd at all, if I had a cable connection in my bedroom I might be doing the same thing! I camp out with my computer and tv in the living room, the coffee table is my desk. It's a mess most of time but it's where I live and play so I make no excuses for it.

I have a four bedroom, two bathroom home, with a combined kitchen/dining/living area. My computer desk is close to the ranch slider doors leading to the backyard and I spent the vast amount of the day there. Ten feet from the coffee pot, eight feet from the fridge, the telly on a swinging bracket so I can watch it from the desk. The bathroom I use is nearby too. Once I emerge from my bedroom in the morning, I often don't return there till bedtime and the only time I go into the other bedrooms is to make them up for visitors! I could cheerfully live in a shed!

I think it's all good, GBH. One thing you have proved is that you don't need alot of room to be happy. You've found your comfort zone and you are in it. For me that is in the living room because it is the brightest room in the house. I can sit on the sofa, listen to music, sit with my laptop, the list goes on. If my bedroom was really bright I would probably spend more time there...

Even if it was odd, I would give it thumbs up since I like things and people who are odd. It's your space and you are free to use it as you please.

We have a bdrm we never use. It has become a storage area. That is a nice way of saying "the junk room." My computer is near the front door so I can be the watchdog.

I really don't use any room other than my bedroom and bathroom. Between my bed and my LazyBoy chair....it is the most comfortable for me. This is why I've been joking about just renting a studio apartment. I don't need the other rooms. The only kitchen I need is fridge, microwave and coffee pot.

GBH, I'm going to drop cable and buy another laptop instead to use as a television I can watch while I'm online with my primary computer. In 4 months, the new computer will pay for itself.

I haven't taken the laptop to my recliner~~yet! It's in the dining room, open plan, but that means I have to get up and walk to the computer, otherwise I'd never get off the recliner. The big TV is in the living room and I love TV too.
I had to keep my bedroom just for sleeping as I have such problems falling asleep, so no TV in there.

I think you're okay GBH!!

It seems perfect...I can spread out my computer, phone, books, snacks, crosswords...have my adorable cats nearby...watch out the back sliding door for birds etc. And also be comfortable...pillows, snuggly cotton quilts etc.

But I never spend time anywhere else! Well, cooking and sometimes eating in the kitchen...I do sit on the deck a lot, but still....no time at all in the LR....

Do you think I am turning into a Zsa Zsa or something?
A Queen-wanna-be....
You might want to see a psychiatrist. Honestly though, I don't spend much time in my living room either. It's quite small, and quite frankly is filled with junk. When I'm home, I'm usually at my "home office" which is half of my bedroom.

If it's odd, then I'm odd too. I do the same thing.

It appears we are birds of a feather who have flocked together...that's a good thing. Doing certain things in certain places (like the rules when I was growing up--i.e. the dining room is only for eating) is passe. You can do almost anything anywhere...it's all about personal comfort.

I work at home and some days I just work in my pajamas in bed. I have a little TV and my computer plus, it's the only piece of furniture the dogs and I can fit on at the same time. My house also has real old wiindows and doors and the bedroom is the warmest room in the house.
