Off to buy sockets, lights etc today and last night I had another clear out of part of the kitchen, this time the flipping spices.
I thought I'd done that a while back but what needed ditching was embarrassing.
We have had a peeve about that before, but I'll take a different slant on it today.
You buy a product, maybe because it says it's needed for a particular recipe, and what happens? You use a pinch of it and the rest sits there for years and goes to waste.
Yep, you have to narrow down a list of spices you use most. I'd love to have fresh herbs on hand but there's no such animal unless you have an herb garden. Our spice cabinet is so full even after the wife paid 40 bucks for two little slide out gadgets. Women .. Stuff falls out everywhere when I open the door.
And why are there 8 hot dog buns in a package and "7" hot dogs in a package?
Speaking of...I want to know why we don't have half cake mixes and half frosting.
