How is that for being creative????
Yes thats me too. Im an excellent problem solver. I did tech suport for years. People wouldalways call me if they had a biggie.

Id say Im crafty but I dont really paint things so much as put them together in unusual ways. And I really like to design and build things. I just finished a raised 30x40 block patio and now Im workin on the flower beds and dry stacked wall around it . Im also workin on a 10 ft heart shaped stepped pond with a rock wall around it.

Did I mention I have a fetish for rocks. I smooshed my finger between two of the big suckers so Im taking a short break. LOL. Besides Mr Mouskiewitz is still sick and he has to be held.

Hey Kimo -

That's because they forgot where their furniture was underneath all those T-shirts, flip flops, fuzzy slippers & Hawaiian shirts!

Nice to see you, my friend... VV

Highly creative people seem to be a small percentage of our population. Most people prefer more practical and pragmatic things like Sports, or going into very conventional professions.

Discuss.
Hi Vas -

I'm wondering what kind of dr he is & where he found this info? Either the world if packed with creative types or I, by some unbelieveable stroke of luck, have always been surrounded by mostly creative professional folks, most who make a FT living at it & many I'm still in touch with - hairdressers/make-up artists, arts & crafts makers of all kinds, wedding cake designers, clothing designer, sculptors/painters (I know 4), metaphysical teachers/practitioners of all sorts, singers/dancers (I know 4), writers (I know 2), musicians (far too many to count over my lifetime). I could go on, depending on what is considered "creative", like yoga/ballet/swim teachers, instructors in varying left-of-mainstream subjects, massage therapists/chiropractors/acupuncturists.

I also know many who are crafty at home in some way & do it for a hobby. Come to think of it, I'm far pressed to think of anyone I know, either family, the few neighbors I know or friends, who aren't creative in some way, most in multiple ways.

I've worked mainly in creative fields, so perhaps this is why my stats are skewed, but I've seen creative types everywhere I go & I've lived all across the country & in other countries. I've never experienced a lack of creative types around me, which is very refreshing.

Wow, thanks for the post. I just realized how many cool friends I have or have had... VV
