I sometimes think these repair people, salesman have profiled you before you even get to your house, some how, some way!

When my water heater died out last year, some salesman came around and was going to put a new one in for $1500. My intuition said

Instead, went to Loew's, which will install it for you for a fee, and had it all done for $650!

Good point- we don't always think straight when there's a domestic emergency going on.

Hmm- that reminds me- must chase up that 'emergency' plumbing company that I'm claiming against.
