Today's Peeve Of The Day, Monday 5th March. (buying, clothes, wear)

Good morning peevers.

Good start to the day. The kitchen fitters turned uo over an hour early and the kitchen isn't here yet- better than not turning up.

Anyway, must dash but on with the peeve.

Ever found that one of your favourite pieces of clothing, or shoes has worn out, or maybe you've 'outgrown them'?

Today's peeve;

Unable to continue to wear your favourite clothes.

Yep, just as you're getting use to them they wear out or you outgrow them. I like my white swede shoes and flared out Travolta pants, but darn I can't fit in them anymore.

Every now and than, when I buy a new pair of shoes, I think about the fact that when you buy the shoes, they're uncomfortable and may cause blisters. Then, after they're broken-in and comfortable, it's time to replace them...

The only problem I have there is everything seems too big anymore, arrrrgh!

I have a favorite pair of boat shoes that I constantly wear - they're so comfortable. Unfortunately I've worn the tread out and the place where I bought them closed I'm just kicking myself for not buying 2 pairs in the first place

How did you know I was going thru the closet today? Every year I swear I wont wear the same size next year... looks like it worked again, the wrong way!!

Good Morning, All. That is a very good peeve, Jezer. I have quite a few things I have grown out of..this winter. So it is back to the gym, I head..

My favorite pair of jeans have been washed so many times they feel like flannel the bad thing is they are getting some holes in the wrong places. I'm gonna cry when I toss them out!!!!

I'm wearing a favourite pair of what I guess you call deck shoes at the moment. They look awful due to all the building work going on, and they squelch in the wet, but they are so comfortable!

That's usually my reason I can't continue to wear my favorite clothing.
