Today's Question(s):

Tomorrow is St Patricks Day

Do you have any special plans ?
Nope - we don't generally make such a big deal of St. Pat's Day as you guys in the US do.

Will you wear something green ?
I only own one green item of clothing - a lowly T-shirt, which is currently in the laundry basket... so, no!

Any of our QOTD family plan on making or eating Corn Beef & Cabbage ?
Ack!!! Definitely not!!

Bonus Question:

What was the last thing that had you saying

"They don't make them like they use to " ?
My electric kettle - they seem to conk out after only about six months!

Extra Credit Question:

Maria the "Gift of the Month Fairy" is bringing you your winning certificate.
How nice!

What will you be choosing to get for free every month for 1 year ?
A full day at the spa - massage, facial, maybe also a seaweed wrap and a manicure. Yum!

Thanks Karla, enjoy the wedding!

Have a Fab Friday everyone.

Today's Question(s):

Tomorrow is St Patricks Day

Do you have any special plans ?
No plans related to St. Patrick. I'm going to my great niece's third birthday party. She wants a "Cat in the Hat" party.
Will you wear something green ?
No, red and white stripes, of course!
Any of our QOTD family plan on making or eating Corn Beef & Cabbage ?
I would love to, but no.

Bonus Question:

What was the last thing that had you saying

"They don't make them like they use to " ?
So many things. Even packaging..... less icecream in the container, but paying the same price, or higher!

Extra Credit Question:

Maria the "Gift of the Month Fairy" is bringing you your winning certificate

Anything?? I should maybe wish big, but all I can think of now is a bouquet of flowers every month.... simple pleasure. Maybe a ticket to a good show, music or theater..... oh, I know. An expense paid vacation anywhere in the world. I'd choose a different country each month. There.... I choose this last one.

It's Friday!! Have a good day, all!

Good morning, Karla! Sounds like you'll be busy today - hope you have fun with all the chaos.

Today's Question(s):

Tomorrow is St Patricks Day

Do you have any special plans?

No, not really. Housecleaning, a visit to the clay studio, the usual Saturday routine. We're way too old to go partying.

Will you wear something green?

Oh, I might drag out a green tie-dyed t-shirt to wear.

Any of our QOTD family plan on making or eating Corn Beef & Cabbage?

Nope, we're planning an Irish stew and boxty, maybe some Irish soda bread.

Bonus Question:

What was the last thing that had you saying

"They don't make them like they used to?"

That seems to be a frequent refrain for me. The last time was probably about a garment of clothing that started fraying on the second or third washing, which happens all too often. I may yet reach the point of making my own clothes the way my mom did; it takes a lot of time, but at least you're assured of winding up with a garment that you can use for more than a month before it falls apart.

Extra Credit Question:

Maria the "Gift of the Month Fairy" is bringing you your winning certificate

What will you be choosing to get for free every month for 1 year?

Hmmm, let's see. How about a winning lottery ticket? <grin>

Tomorrow I'm working and its just another day.
Supper tomorrow night might be home made enchiladas, o need to use uip some cilantro in my fridge before it goes bad.

I say 'they don't make the like they used to' all the time because its true in every aspect of our daily lives. Cars, appliances, food, bottles, clothes...

Mornin' all!

Today's Question(s):

Tomorrow is St Patricks Day

Do you have any special plans ?
Not specifically for St. Patrick's Day. I'm Irish. You'd think I'd have something planned, but no.
Will you wear something green ?
I'm a redhead. I wear something green almost every day.
Any of our QOTD family plan on making or eating Corn Beef & Cabbage ?
Vegetarian here, no corned beef for me. I used to love it though.

Bonus Question:

What was the last thing that had you saying

"They don't make them like they use to " ?
Gardening shovel...snapped right off in my hand.

Extra Credit Question:

Maria the "Gift of the Month Fairy" is bringing you your winning certificate

What will you be choosing to get for free every month for 1 year ?
Cheese? A bone-crunching massage? Beer? A book? Bird seed? Hmmmmmm...so many possibilities.
