I find it in nature. Today we went out to where we had our first date, and fed the wild birds by hand like we did back then. There's something sweetly wonderful about a tiny little chickadee trusting you enough to land on your open palm. That's probably why I get so much joy out of my own bird, too, little rascal that he is. So fragile, yet so delightful.

I also find it in my work. My clients are non-profits, and it gives me great joy and satisfaction to help them help others. I'm very fortunate and grateful that I'm in a position to do that, and to choose whom I work with based on what I believe in, according to my own rules. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it.

Then there are the simple pleasures: A good book, a nice glass of wine, an email bearing good news from a friend, a funny video, even a rep comment saying I made someone laugh or helped someone out when they really needed it.

All together now: Kum-ba-yah...

The only time I remember pure joy is when I held my children when they were young...I try to remember those feelings when I feel like killing them now!LOL!!

I find it. Sometimes. It's on-going. A process of sorts. I've never seen anyone with constant joy in their lives.

I found Joy in the dressing room at the club - we went out for a few months.

In life, in general, I've had my ups and downs.

Not really. I know it must come from within. I do, however, exhibit moments of joy but I wish it lasted longer.

I am thankful for all of the blessings that God has given me. I am working on making changes in my life. Hopefully, I will be able to execute it.
