I'm still waiting for the colorful spring world. (Picture was taken a couple of winters ago. This year stayed sort of brown, yipee!)
No spring yet? Sure it'll be there soon! Nice tree too!

I hear there is spring everywhere! Geee, I sure would hate to be the part of the country not experiencing. Maybe Maine or a far northern state. Maybe 2cold can tell us if it is at least warm there.

It's supposed to go down to 18 degrees F tonight, with a chance of snow on Thursday.
I lived in Arizona many years ago. I want to go back. <---- me, crying & blue with cold.

Officially spring started on March 20th this year...I guess Mother Nature didn't get
the memo about it though...so sorry some of you are getting snow still...
Wer'e having upper 70's/low 80's here on the tx/ok border...20 degrees warmer than normal...
the daffodils, irises, and our joseph's coat roses are in full bloom...sorry I don't have pictures
to show...it's really pretty now but come May there won't be much color left, just green grass/trees unless it get's too hot and everything turns brown like last summer...

Here on the California coast , we have had days of endless rain, the kind that never stops and fills the walkways with sloshy rivers .

In response to a couple of queries, I'm in southern coastal Maine, where this morning I awoke to a thin coating of snow. Further north the weatherman predicts up to 6" of the stuff.
The only colorful bloom I have in my yard is a tiny fistful of crocus.
At least summer played a fleeting visit last week when we hit 80 F. We're predicted to hit the upper 40's today.

You know, as much as I love spring color, the black & white photos really do show more depth. Like Ansel Adams or Diane Arbus, I guess.
