I love going to the mall! When I was a young mum it was the thing I missed most. I could spend and entire day and no money in the mall, easily. I love crusing the shops, looking at things, I even love sitting down and people watching. I have to be in a certain mood though, I won't go if I just need to rush in and out. I LOATHE food shopping and buy it online as supermarkets are like hell on earth to me.
I might be the only mid-50s guy who doesn't mind it. There is a big mall about a 5 minute walk from where I live. But I usually drive and that takes 2 minutes.
Whenever I go I do at least 3 laps and climb steps. It really gets me modivated.
On a side note and because someone already brought it up when I was married I did almost all the shopping. It was never a big deal.
Ive gone many times with friends or family but am not a mall person, everything is so overpriced there. Most ,malls probably have more people roaming around than my entire town.
I live in a small town and we have a mall but it sucks! I like to go out of town to the bigger cities and suburbs and go to the huge malls. It's a nice day trip for us and something different to do.
Going to Mall Of America is on my bucket list. For real!
I hear ya on that. My local mall is nothing. I'd rather drive the 30 mins plus to go to the nicer ones on the weekend. Perhaps I should put the Mall Of America on my bucket list too
I have to drive an hour and a half to go to a mall I used to like when I was younger. To many bangers in the mall closest to our house. There's a snobby mall not far away, but I dislike pretentious people. I don't really have time for that these days.
