Bigfoot sightings and stories span the globe and time.
In the US, California, Willow Creek is known for many sightings.
I used to live just south of Willow Creek up in the vastly unpopulated area of mountain territory. To look out my window, one would see a wild land of steep ridges and lots of trees. It would be so easy to go out into this wilderness and never encounter another human being.
Once we went down to an old cabin on the property to work on the spring and water tanks. My daughter and dog spotted something large and hairy. At first my daughter thought bear, but then realized that this thing was on two legs. The dog took chase and daughter followed. Of course they never caught up to it. And the dog who should have been able to keep up, could not.

My father went on an scientific trip to the jungle in Equador. He was studying insects but found footprints. He brought back castings of the footprints.

^^ That's an amazing story. I agree the dog should have been able to keep up.

I have seen some castings of footprints while I visited parts of Washington state but I've never been lucky enough to see one in person.
