Yes- it's still wall to wall sunshine here. Temperatures have been up near 70 F which is crazy for this time of the year. I'm having to water spring plants which is a first for me.
So, my fellow peevers, what for today?
Yesterday I put my phone and a torch (Edit- flashlight) on to charge. I opened up the box containing the chargers and there's loads of them, each with a different coupling. Most are for cellphones and what really annoys me is how the manufacturers of these have, deliberately I think, got different connections.
The next thing is that you need different chargers or adapters for the car, and that pushes cost up and fills the car with more stuff.
No prizes for guessing today's peeve;
Needing so many different chargers for gadgets.

Yeah ... That is a huge pain in the rear end! Fortunately, I keep my chargers where I can find them and all of them are distinctive so I never mix them up. Ironically, a relative lost his charger and by a miracle, he was able to use my charger to charge his phone even though they were different models.
BTW: Jeezer ... I'm almost afraid to ask but what do you use a "torch" for?
Certainly everything is made as proprietary as possible. Sad that instead of manufacturing in the ability to substitute parts and equipment, it's quite the opposite.
Yeah, i always thought that was a funny word for a flashlight. I love the English and Aussie contribution to the fun dictionary. I've always wondered if Americans ever had any endearing phrases or sayings. To others I mean.

You want funny?
Over here an eraser is a rubber.
Slang for a cigarette is a f-a-g. (It won't let me write it properly!)
I keep my phone charger on the counter and my camera battery charger in the box the camera came in. that's all I charge, there is no charger here for me though. I need one
Newsflash: I found a charger that has about 5 different adapters to fit just about anything!!
Otherwise, yes its frustrating looking for the right charger, arrrrgh!
