Someone tell me I'm wrong- it cannot be the last day of March already!
Mrs J is off to town to pick up all the goodies for a celebratory brunch here tomorrow. Many of the workmen who have remodelled our house are friends of mine anyhow and they and their other halves will be here to christen the new kitchen.
However I won't be heading off with Mrs J as we are awaiting a delivery, and even though I ordered it and I am looking forward to it arriving, I'm stuck here.
So, let's make that the POTD;
Having to wait in for a delivery or serviceman.
Good peeve, Jez. I often put off having work done in the house because I'm not willing to use a precious vacation day to wait around for hours for a delivery or service person to show up. I only have 10 PTO (paid time off) days per year, and I won't use one to wait for somebody unless it's an emergency repair.

Waiting for a delivery doesn't bother me. They'll leave it on the porch if I'm not here. Waiting for a service or repair person is aggravating, but it's part of living in the age we live in.
