Oh, my gosh. No. It was probably more than thirty years ago. I am verrrrrrry old.

I've heard that song numerous times on my cassette player while traveling from Phoenix to the the Los Angeles area, and back, or Phoenix to San Diego and back, this was in the late 1970s up until the mid 1980s, before CDs came about. Traveling in the desert at night and seeing lights in the distance sort of fit the words in Hotel California just perfectly.

C-D website it like looking into everyone windows of their homes and never getting shot at by a neighbor. LOL You get to see a little of just who they are and not have to worry. lol
