Perhaps because I've come to terms with how disturbing it can sometimes be. Which to some may be disturbing in itself. I have recently come to the decision that alot of this life is about learning to cope. With injustice. Prejudice. Ignorance. War. And so on. So I do my best to help others whenever in whatever way I can. For instance... I'm looking forward to this Saturday, May 12th. I'm in a position to assist in the Stamp Out Hunger Food Driveā¢ | Home. Letter carriers across the country, in patnership with the U.S. Postal Service, will be collecting non-perishable food for families in need. It's disheartening that this even needs to happen. But I'm happy to help. From 2008 to 2011 (minus about six months) I was one of those that needed assitance. Now it's time for me to give back. Pay it forward, if you will.
Just posted a song in another thread and found this saying...
"When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace" - Jimi Hendrix
And it's just that simple.

And we'll all be able to finally see a picture of you, if not there, the Illinois Department of Corrections website or in a true crime book!
Maybe both LOL. I have a photo album with pic's of DH and I. My profile picture was supposed to be Howie our dog but DH put me from our 1990 trip to Australia there by mistake. I'd be really happy if I could be that young again.
I have a great husband who loves me and treats me as though I am something special. (Married almost 25 years.)
I had a great husband before him and 10 fantastic years of being single after he was gone.
I have fabulous children and grandchildren.
Father was a great man.
I have/have had wonderful parents-in-law.
I have a roof over my head, food to eat, a great job, and a great boss.
I'd have to be COMPLETELY NUTS to complain!
