When I consider my life, the way it started out, I was headed for the absolute worst. But I ran into people who made me see new things I had not known existed. My first marriage gave me a great husband, but when he was killed, he left me with two great children and his parents -- the Best! Ten years of being single but having them made everything good and allowed me to grow. A new marriage brought me a new husband (now of almost 25 years) and two step-children. My husband and I have done a lot of growing, changing, moving forward. Our life is so good.

Today, I am very happy that I have received an invitation to my first husband's father's 90th birthday party this week. How grateful I am to still have both his parents and my present husband's father. I am so blessed.
I love your story and your handling of it. I hope I can look back and feel the same some day. Right now, rough times but not WITH my husband - what others are doing to him - not good. We are fighters though.
