I was observing the world today...

And I noticed something different happening...

Things seemed to be going a little faster...

I mean, REALLY faster. Did you notice????

WILD FLOWER: me thinks you have too much free time...
you have been very mischievious since April 1....

But yes, I too think things are speeding up in the world, at least in mine...
I've got a list a mile long of projects to do around here and I
can't seem to get as many things accomplished as I used to...too many
interruptions. get's frustrating at times...

Where were those pics taken? Looks like a college. They built a new bell tower thing where I went to school, god knows how much it costs and its ugly too. Long ago they tore down the old buildings and put up prison looking ugly ones. That's progress for ya.

Ya, its faster and spinning out of control.

Owl City - Fireflies (lyrics) - YouTube

I don't know how to post the video here... you should be able to listen to the song by clicking above!

I want my world to turn slowly too!

I love this song! Especially this part...

I'd like to make myself believe
That planet earth turns slowly
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay
Awake when I'm asleep
Because my dreams are bursting at the seams

Song lyrics here:
FIREFLIES Lyrics - OWL CITY

Well, I do know that the older I get, the faster the years go by. It's scary sometimes.

Yes, true. But sometimes we have to do the slowing down. I notice when I pay attention to what I am doing in the moment, forget the rest, it is slower. I think I've learned that from all my frustrations and depression- kind of MADE me be in the moment- even though I didn't want to be there! HA Really though, there is nothing better than realizing that bad moment is not so bad and I notice that time was really slow and I liked that part!
