owe u another rep but have to wait. yes! wow, I didnt know she did that . Very admirable.

Here's a few women authors...I dont see any of these people discussed in media today, sad. If I had a daughter I would want her to read english literature, not watch trash tv.

Since its inception, Literary Women has been honored by public organizations for its continuing dedication to the original proposition of founding members that literature by women greatly enhances a community’s quality of life.

Founder Harriet Williams was unable to attend the Festival’s 30th Year celebration.

She wrote the following poem:

May your days be busy.
May your food taste good.
May there be a bookstore
In your neighborhood.

May your loved ones flourish,
And your garden thrive;
May the earth get cooler,
And the whales survive,
May your debts diminish;
May your laughs increase,
May your friends call often,
And the world find peace.

many poets on this list. I always liked:

Elizabeth Bishop (1911–1979), Pulitzer Prize winning American poet and writer.

Carson McCullers (1917–1967), American novelist. The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter

also starring Anthony Hopkins. Wonderful story.

My Grandmothers...they had it rough, but never complained and loved me unconditionally...

I really admire Michelle Obama, I was just thinking the other day...if I were given a choice of who I would like to be I would pick her...

Others...

Goldie Hawn...because she has the "happy gene"
Susan Sarandon...because she seems like an interesting person and genuine...

Oh yes I agree!!

Anne Frank: Inspirational!! (she has been a heroine of mine since I was a child, we share the same birthday, different year though)

One of the most famous and discussed Holocaust Victim (though I'm sure she would hate that description of herself)

"Despite everything, I believe that people are really good at heart".~Anne Frank

I think I'll read her book again...
