I hate having any medical procedure where they sedate me.

I have an upcoming corneal replacement and i'm not looking forward to it. The last time I had it done I supposedly talked thru most of the surgery. The only thing I remember is the doctor asking me to be quiet and my telling him that he was lucky I wasn't singing.

I saved the concert for the recovery room.

Looks like most of ours are medical related - I'll keep the trend going - mine is that I have to start taking a certain medicine soon and am supposed to be on it for at least 5 years. Yuck - I hate taking medicine

Great peeve, Jezer!

Fortunately, many times the actual task or event is not as bad as anticipated. At least for me it works out that way. If I know well in advance that something I don't like to do is coming, I build it up so much in my mind that the real thing turns out not to be so bad.
