Fallen Officer's family needs assistance.
One of our officers was killed in the line of duty. He leaves behind a wife and two small kids. No mater how small, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Done, I know every little bit counts. Our prayers are with his family and the female officer that was also injured and will have atleast two years of rehab infront of her. Thank God this man was caught before hurting anyone else. It is most definately a humble profession filled with risk but Im sure for those that make it to the end of the day filled with somewhat of satisfaction. Thank you for your service in our lives.

My husband and I express our sympathy for the tragic loss of this man and for the wounding of the other three officers. These brave and courageous officers put their lives on the line for the rest of us, and so horribly, something like the events of yesterday happened. We will send a check to the address shown in your post. Bless you and the others.

Thank you very much Northwoods Voyager. This officer was shot . He died serving the public in an area that had a recent rash of residential burglaries. He trained the new recruits for a while and gave up a position in our sexual crimes unit to be a part of the crime prevention unit.
