Morning all.

Just rushing out, but Pam's (PJ) comment about thunderstorms and having to shut down her computer at the weekend gave me this idea for the POTD;

Not being able to do what you want or have to due to the weather.

Out of my control. Nap time knows no weather.

We've had some very bad weather (tornadoes) in my area over the last month. We've lost power, cable service, etc.

I've been watching enough "Prepper" shows that I know what to do to be as comfortable as possible.

Battery operated lanterns, fans, weather radio, etc. Plus water, food, cats, cats stuff, quilts, cot, etc in the hidey hole in the house.

I've actually done quite well because I am a reader and the lanterns provide me the opportunity to read. And like Nomadicus said, it's a good time to take a nap. So, I don't let the weather slow me down.

That's life on a farm......we are always at the mercy of the weather.

It's getting ready to rain here and while I'm glad, I was going to walk down to the little mini-super before I have to start work at 9. Fortunately, my new landlord offered to let me use his truck, so I wouldn't get caught in a downpour.

I don't mind bad weather.
It offers me an excuse from guilt over being such a couch potato....
or the name I made up for myself...the laptop chip.

Good one Jezer. I love being able to open the doors and work inside or better yet be outside working. I hate bad weather....even when we need it.

I still have things to do inside when the weather is bad. I can always get by with reading, cooking and the Internet.....it's my DH who drives me crazy. He doesn't have any indoor hobbies except to bug me

I wanted to do a bunch of yard work this week. Between the lingering effects of the flu I had and rain moving in I guess I'll have to wait.
