What's your favorite dish or food with garlic? Spicy crab noodles at this Thai restaurant ... Now that dish is loaded with the garlic. Also, this Filipino breakfast sausage I used to eat at my former job (Log Silog ?) was chock full of garlic).... They served it with eggs and garlicky rice ... Man! After eating that stuff, you'll be burpin' garlic all day ... I'm grateful that I never killed anyone with my lethal breath at that job .... Gosh! I missed that entree but the family that ran that cafeteria up and moved to Vegas (Not that I'd ever go Downtown THAT early in the morning just to eat breakfast though) ... Maybe Dennisnpat might be able to tell me where to find some good Log Silog???
You must be thinking of Top Silog (breakfast). The name of the garlicky sausage is longaniza. I know of a couple of places to get a good Filipino breakfast. I'll send you the information via DM. Keep an eye out.

Today's Question: Have you ever served on a jury? Yes, two times. If so, anything memorable about it that you'd like to tell us?
The most memorable one was the DUI case I served on (DWI here in Texas). There was of an incredible amount of evidence that the defendant was guilty. He failed the breathalizer test, they had video of him stumbling around with slurred speech, even an eyewitness saw him driving drunk. Then we got in the jury room and all of us voted guilty except these two crazy old men that were convinced beyond any logic or reason that he was innocent....lol. They kept saying stuff like "that cop was just picking on him!" or "I have a drink everyday, he wasn't doing anything that bad!", etc. The defendant had even driven his vehicle into someone's yard and could have seriously injured or killed someone. Anyway, those two old turkeys on that jury would not vote guilty no matter what the rest of us tried to do so we ended up in a hung jury after about 4 hours of deliberation.
If not, would you want to be on a jury?
Bonus Question: Once upon a time, people didn't leave home with an uncovered head. What kind of hats do you wear or have you worn? I occasionally wear baseball caps.
Do you wear hats for style or function or both? Function.
Foodie Question: How do you feel about garlic in your food? -Load it up! -Some, but not too much. This one. -Just a little -No thanks! What's your favorite dish or food with garlic? Garlic bread.
Just for fun: Every family has unique words that no one else uses. What are some of your family's words?

Just mispronouncing words when me and my siblings were litte kids I suppose. I can't think of anything else.
Today's Question: Have you ever served on a jury? No, didn't make the final cut. If so, anything memorable about it that you'd like to tell us?
If not, would you want to be on a jury? Sure.
Bonus Question: Once upon a time, people didn't leave home with an uncovered head. What kind of hats do you wear or have you worn? I'm not really one for wearing anything on my head. In the past, had to wear coverings in church. Then, in the Navy.
Do you wear hats for style or function or both? Then, for function. Now, not at all, hmmmm. Perhaps I'm forgetting the need to wear protective helmets for some sports/cycling?
Foodie Question: How do you feel about garlic in your food?
-Load it up! -Some, but not too much. X -Just a little -No thanks! What's your favorite dish or food with garlic? I'm very partial to BWW's Parmesan Garlic Flatbread Garlic bread, every once in a while

Most were nicknames or made-up terms used by brother, parents and grandparents and other close relatives. Some words were also used by their parents/grandparents coming from Ireland and Germany.
For some strange reason, my cut and paste functions are not working that well in this posting, but am totally onto that - Amaretto Day

I have a weird shaped head and hats won't stay on my head. Weird, I know. I do wear a straw hat when mowing in the summer. For some reason, I have to wear baseball caps and other types of hats backwards for them to stay on.
I was on a jury once and it was only okay. Some real idiots out there just cannot obey the rules of society and even more so, there are idiots who cannot obey simple rules of being on a jury. Some jurors bring their own baggage and convict someone before any evidence is presented.
Garlic is good. I don't eat foods with it very often, but when I do, I enjoy it.
