Sunny and in the mid-90s today in the NV desert.

Do you like "Scary" Movies ? No!

What was the scariest movie(s) you have seen ? Cape Fear.

Have you ever walked out of a movie because it scared/freaked you out too much ? No, but I seldom see a movie in a theatre.

If given the chance,would you like to throw out the first ball or handle the tip off for a ball game or hockey game ? It would be fun to throw out the first ball at a baseball game, but there's no way I'd be able to get it over the plate!

Last time you said to yourself "Uh oh this is going to become a "project" ? Recently, when I was working on an Excel spreadsheet that someone else had set up.

What fun and exciting things do you have planned for this weekend ? Golf lesson, brunch with a friend, poker club, going to an outdoor art fair with a friend.

Happy Friday everyone!

Today's Question(s):

Do you like "Scary" Movies? Depends on the type of movie. I like classic scary movies like the original Psycho, The Birds, etc. I don't like movies that have a lot of graphic violence in them -- I don't need to see blood and guts; would rather have an excellent story line and acting than a bunch of special effects.

What was the scariest movie(s) you have seen? When I was real little, the original Wolfman movie scared the heck out of me! Now, most movies people consider scary don't scare me at all. I remember when The Exorcist first came out, when I was in college. People were screaming and fainting in the aisles in theatres around the country, but when I saw it I didn't think it was very scary at all. I thought it was pretty stupid, actually. Loved the book, though.

Have you ever walked out of a movie because it scared/freaked you out too much? Nope.

Extra Credit Question:
If given the chance,would you like to throw out the first ball or handle the tip off for a ball game or hockey game? Would be fun to do that at a hockey game. GO BLACKHAWKS!

Bonus Question:
Last time you said to yourself "Uh oh this is going to become a 'project'"? A few days ago, when my pastor emailed me with a request to head yet another committee.

Just for Fun:
What fun and exciting things do you have planned for this weekend? Haven't made fun plans yet, but expect to do make some plans tonight or tomorrow morning. I have a lot of house chores on the agenda and I'm so far behind in that stuff that I'm actually looking forward to doing it. (Never thought those words would come from me - looking forward to housework! )

Word of the Day:
agrestic \uh-GRES-tik\ , adjective;
1. Pertaining to fields or the country; rural; rustic.
I like to photograph agrestic landscapes.

Today is:
National Pineapple Upside Down Cake Day We had some at a birthday party at the office yesterday!
Get to Know Your Customer Day Well, if I had a customer, I'd get to know him or her!
Cuckoo Day

Make A Quilt Day No, thanks. Too tedious for me. I have a friend who is a master quilter. Love to see her beautiful work.
Look Alike Day My sister and I look alike.
Volunteer Recognition Day God bless the volunteers!
Safety Match Day I'd rather live on the edge and use unsafe matches.

HAPPY, HAPPY FRIDAY, EVERYONE!

Today's Question(s):

Do you like "Scary" Movies ? They're ok, don't watch a lot of them these days.

What was the scariest movie(s) you have seen ? Probably Poltergeist.

Have you ever walked out of a movie because it scared/freaked you out too much ? Not that I recall.

Extra Credit Question:

If given the chance,would you like to throw out the first ball or handle the tip off for a ball game or hockey game ? Throwing out the first ball for an old timers game at Yankee Stadium would be cool!

Bonus Question:

Last time you said to yourself "Uh oh this is going to become a "project" ? Trying to track down an electrical short in the Buick. For a few weeks I couldn't figure out why I was losing a little bit of "juice' as I would start my car in the morning. My mechanic parked it in his garage, went out to his garage around 11 p.m. and noticed the trunk light was on but the trunk was still closed. He tracked down the wiring and got me fixed up. It was certainly aggravating enough, glad THAT was over with!

Just for Fun:

What fun and exciting things do you have planned for this weekend ? Garage sales this weekend and Record Store Day on Saturday. Time for tunes-YEEHAWW!!!!!

On Sunday I'm attending the DC United vs. New York Red Bulls soccer match (in DC). Too bad it looks like it's going to rain but it will still be fun.
I'm pretty sure the seats are undercover.

Have a great weekend!
