There's not much locally where I am right now, but I'm relocating in the very near future (65 days, not that I'm counting, you understand) and in my new location, there is an abundance of farmers markets, farm stands, CSA's and more.
Bonus Question:
Let’s talk about shaving! Do you prefer:
Going shaggy?
I prefer the shaggy, but Mrs. Charley likes the clean-shaven face. So during the winter, I try to keep the shaggy - but keep it clean the rest of the year.
Extra Credit Question:
How many coins do you have in your pocket or change purse at this moment? How many of them are pennies?
Zero and zero.
Just for Fun:
What’s your favorite flavor of jelly bean?
All of them ... and Good and Plentys and Hershey's Kisses and Junior Mints and M&Ms (and even the W's when they print them wrong!)
Today in History:
1954 – Witnesses begin testifying and live television coverage of the McCarthy Hearings begins
A little bit of trivia. For those who have seen the clips, the lead counsel who finally asked McCarthy whether he had any decency at all was Joseph N. Welch. He went on to play the judge in the movie "Anatomy of a Murder" with Jimmy Stewart and Lee Remick.
Good morning, friends, and welcome to Sunday! It’s a cool, damp weekend here in South-central Wisconsin, pretty typical for April and the first Farmers’ Market of the year. The Market was crowded but wonderful – we got spinach, asparagus, ramps, green garlic, pork chops, sausage and beef, and it just felt so good to be back inching our way around the crowded square with our market basket. I got a lot done in the yard in the afternoon on Saturday, too, so I’ll get to play at the clay studio today.
But before I go off to make mud pies, let’s take a few moments together to chat about:

Electric razor once per day. I feel very uncomfortable if I go without shaving longer than that.

I have a change purse that I bought off Amazon several months ago. It's very handy and I keep other small stuff in it as well. I just looked and there is about $4.00 in it, less than 10 pennies.

How many coins do you have in your pocket or change purse at this moment? I have no coins in my pocket. I never pay for anything with coins. During the day I accumulate all the change I get from any purchase. Then I empty my pockets and put the change in an old tea pot. When it gets full I take it to the bank and use it as play money. So every morning my pockets arte empty.
