When I lived in Brazil, the toilet paper was so rough, like those cheap paper towels that they have in schools. I was so happy to have our good old U.S. soft toilet paper back.

We had a couple that went camping with us and stayed in our trailer. Every time that woman went into the bath room she used an entire roll of toilet paper!!! I don't what she was touching in there but it must have been nasty!!!!!

When you have a need for toilet paper, do you use the least amount possible to make it last longer..say take so much of it and fold it carefully. Or do you take a big giant wad of it, wasting a bunch of it, possibly clogging the toilet in the process?
I used to wad it long ago....having been taught that way by my Mom eons ago. Then when I was older, a boyfriend at the time was appalled that I was using so much and he taught me to fold it. Thereby making the roll last longer. I've done that ever since.
For #1, I use 3 sheets of Quilted Northern, folded. Plenty.
About 35 years ago I lived for a brief time with my sis & bro-in-law. My sis mentioned that she was shocked at how much more TP they went through when I was there. It was then that I realized I was using way more than I needed. I've always been frugal with TP - and other paper products - since then. I'm glad my sister spoke up.
