I hate it when no one can find the remote - not the husband or kids that use it the most - and then I magically find it under the couch

I hate it when my 12 year old daughter will swear up and down that she didn't call her friend when I ran to the store - and then I hit redial and her number comes up

I hate it when I have to nag my husband 10,000 times to do something for me - but the neighbor calls to borrow a tool WHEN WE"RE ALREADY ASLEEP and he jumps up and runs out to help him

I hate it when my phone rings after 9:00 pm or before 9am in the morning and it's my MIL calling to chat

Geez - sounds like I need a vacation

I think people who use "I seen" aren't very educated. Or maybe it's a certain area of the country. If they all understand each other, and they all stay there, then what do I care? lol

The season finale of "fat march" was SEEN last tuesday.
There's a good way to use seen. There are many more.

What I would like to know is, who is teaching all these kids who become adults? Are they all products of home schooling? Home schooling is a big thing out here in Las Vegas, and it seems the majority of people out here cannot put together a proper sentence if their life depended on it.
People from all area's of the country move out here, it could also be that problem.
I cringe thinking about the future. There will be a whole new language for future generations. At the rate it's going, it will be something like ebonics.
Please don't let me reincarnate! please! lol
pinkstring...Yes, here in PA, people think you sound uneducated when you say 'seen' but on L.I. eveyone says it, I never gave it any thought before it was pointed out to me. Very educated people on L.I. say this word. I think your examples are fine for seen/saw...but can you give me more specifics on when it is proper to use either? They are both after the fact....
Where is SWB when you need him???
Here is another one...until or till?

I thing I vaguely remember that "seen" is the past perfect tense of "see". Is this right?

This was making sense before the convict came in to the picture! No have or has there, but SAW would definitely not sound right in any of those sentences.

Alright....another one...
into or in to???

People who use "incidentses" as the plural of incident. You'd be surprised at how many newscasters mess this one up. In Maine if you ask someone how they are doing, they'll answer,"Round and round"-ahhh....what the heck does that mean? Grrr.........and then the person that greets you with,"How's Jim today?" OK I know my name is Jim-what you thought I had forgot my name or are you just practicing saying my name....or........ahhh forget it!

People who always see the glass as half empty especially when it comes to other people. They are like festering wounds that nobody wants to be around. Yes ... I have a family member by law who is like it

I discovered another dislike and probably many of you can relate to this: PUSHY PEOPLE!!!
One example:
In the parking lot at Walmart, a couple of guys walking around with petitions, something about re-enforcing child abuse laws or some crazy thing like that. Though we know laws have been re-enforced and tried many times, unsuccessfully, Im not a registered voter nor plan on being one. But he kept trying and trying to get me to register so I can sign that petition. I dont give personal information out to some guy with a clip board in a parking lot and no matter what he's trying to petition, hes not getting any information, how do I know him from anyone else?

I have a number
1. When you say "thank you" and the response is "no problem" - jeez can't people just say "you're welcome" or "my pleasure"?
2. Telemarketers
3. Poor manners
4. Poor table manners as in people who don't know how to handle a knife and fork-there's more.
5. Not assuming responsibility for your actions.

Okay, the "no problem" response doesn't bother me one bit, but when I let you in while merging, WAVE! LOL! Is it that hard? Just a little wave is all I need. If I stop to let you walk, smile, wave, acknowledge in some way that I have yielded to you.

If I invite you to a party and the invitation gives you an RSVP date, then.....oh, I don't know......RSVP! I just might like to know how many people to expect.

Why do people leave fast food bags of trash in parking lots? I've even seen diapers! O M G

Last one- when I call a customer service line and have to punch in my phone number, acct. #, or whatever, WHY do they ask for it again when the human comes on the line? What exactly was the point there?
