Good morning peevers.

Back to work/school day for us all today.

I'm really brassed off (annoyed). I've just started back at work and the main route has roadworks starting up today, apparently for three flipping weeks.

I don't know whether to risk going that way or taking the back route, with potted roads and tractors etc.

The POTD today is simple;

Roadworks.

Yep, wherever you travel these days it's roadwork everywhere. And when you're in a hurry it seems to be at it's worse.

Does this look familiar:

I'm gonna be pretty brassed myself. They are rebuilding a bridge about 3 blocks away from me. May take 6 months they say.

Roadwork can be a hinderance. The biggest problem with that is out here, everything is a 2 lane road or 2 lane highway, till you get to the cities. Any direction we go, its all 2 lanes. And construction brings it down to one lane with flagmen at both ends.

I hate roadwork..

Took me 45 minutes yesterday to get to where I had to go, where it usually takes 15 minutes, due to road work.. People in the wrong lanes. People driving like idiots.

I was behind a biker - the man kept spitting, each time we had to stop. How nasty.. Why wait to stop.? Spit as your driving - so it could hit you back in the face! Hah.

I wish they would do all roadwork at night when there are less people driving.

Same here. They're widening the main road (2 lane) between Boquete and David. Started the work several months before I needed to go back to the States for a while; still working on it over a year and a half later Is a pretty big job though, so guess I should cut them some slack lol

We've been driving on a torn up main road for a couple of weeks now, I have no idea why they haven't already paved it but it's really getting full of pot holes and stones flying everywhere, so annoying. Our state has some of the worst roads in the country, and the wear and tear on vehicles is astronomical. I hope they at least get to paving our road within the next week or so, it's really bad.
