Mike, I believe most states (and multi-state lotteries) prohibit one person from buying more than a specific number of tickets (it's more tickets than most people would buy at one time, even in a pool)

orangeblossom is on a distinguished road
Fun thread.

Honestly I live pretty humbly. The things I enjoy are travel so maybe I would fly first class. I would also pay off my house, pay off debt and start a college fund for my nieces. I would pay off mortgages of my family and friends. I would buy modest yet comfy properties only in the places I have visited b/c this way I don't have to stay with family
( although I don't mind that much). I would pay for the higher education of my sponsored child in the D.R.

My husband will never retire; he loves what he does. However I would:

design an eco house
start a non-profit with my friend
open up a place for kids to hang out in in my home town
take a fashion design course and learn to become a master seamstress and only make vintage clothing from the 20's to the 40's for women.
I would have a shop and it would be swank

One thing Ive always wanted is a pink Karmen Ghia with black and pink interior. I love those cars

I would ask my kids what other country they wanted to live in and send them away.

Then I could keep just a little part of the money for myself and live in peace.

Tonight's Florida Power Ball is $166M the last time I looked.

You think you can spend all that much?

If I won the lottery, I would:

1. Move into a nicer house, probably something in the $200,000 range so I wouldn't stand out.
2. Pay off everything and shred my credit cards
3. Invest
4. Donate to various churches (though I haven't stepped in one in a few years), charities, and local schools
5. Not feel quite so bad for calling in, though I wouldn't quit working
6. Eat my favorite meal from my favorite restaurant once a week or so

I would get a swimming pool and move to a favorite city, probably Charleston. I would also buy my sister a house and pay off my other sister's house and put away enough money so my mom could retire and not worry if she got sick. Then, I would pay for me to go back to nursing school and send my husband to culinary school so he could open up a restaurant (something he use to want to do). Then I would get my in-laws a nice car and fix up their house for them and pay off my brother and sister in laws education and give them money for a house. The rest I would use to open up a hospital (or at least start to) for people with ALS that don't have enough money and have it named after a family member that died from it....not that I've though about winning the lottery or anything haha!

Default Ahhhh, My Dream!!

If I won the lottery, I would give each of my family members (parents, daughter, brothers, nieces, and nephew) the same amount so they could live without having to worry about money ever again. (My husband and I don't owe anyone anything, so worrying about money isn't a problem for us.) I also have several people (friends and acquaintances) in my life who have been nice to me, so I'd help them out, too.

I'd take some of the money and buy a small home or condo right on a nice golf course so my husband could just walk out the back door and play golf anytime. I'd also replace his 1998 Corvette with a new one, not because he doesn't love the one he has, but just because I could! We would also use some of the money for travel.

The rest of the money I would use for charities, especially MS, since my dear brother suffers from this disease.

Powerball jackpot for Wednesday is 245 million.
( cash option is 122.6 million )

One ticket is sufficent, but buy the $2 ticket cuz then your tickets that won smaller amounts have your winnings multiplied by the multiplier ball ( which varies from 2-5 )

If I win the 245 million dollar jackpot ~ I know of 122 other people that would be very happy with 2 million each and I’ll be just as happy with the 1 million leftover. One person should never have THAT much money to themselves.
