I've never won but I know several people that have. My grandfather won the pick 4, played it ten times and won $26,000. I know someone that won $25,000 on a scratch off.

Well, we got the scratch off's first here in Texas and I bought those all the time. I pretty much would break even, maybe a few dollars ahead as I did get 2 or 3 that were $100 winners. Got married and did not get them as much. Then we got the Lotto and we played that every drawing. We'd hit a few 3 matching numbers and win right at $100 but nothing ever bigger. Kind of forgot about it then we would only buy them if we were w/ friends and they were buying them or we felt like it (big jackpot or something). Then we joined the MegaMillions. WOO-HOO!!! We're gonna be rich. LOL!!! Bought a few but that was it, same as Lotto only when thought about it. THEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some friends hit the BIG ONE. OMYFREAKINGOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So people really do win, lol. Now it is a joke that whenever we buy tickets we turn to whoever we're with and say, "people REALLY do win". And they are still very good friends of ours and have not really changed (other than the giant, enormous house, yacht, fleet of expensive cars, champagne & cavier all the time, etc). No, they are not like that and even turn down the tv specials that contact them. So, I've got my tickets for the next drawing already.

There was this particular lottery game in Michigan called "Winfall"...where it would max out at 5 million and there would be a "windfall" to where the prizes are 10x's considering nobody hit top prize.

Long story short...i've hit on that game four times...One at 1 thousand 2 at 100 and 1 at 50.

That's my problem. Then when I do buy tickets I forget to check them. I have a pile of them I need to check. I could be the big winner and don't even know it.

Oh, when I do buy lottery tickets now, I NEVER buy them in the city/town I live in. I found that one out. Buy them in a large city or somewhere far away from home.
