Default LOTTERY! The *Offical Lottery discussion* thread

If I won the lottery,
1. Quit my job.
2. Spend more times with my kids
3. Meet with at least 3 Financial consultants
4. Buy a nice big house for my kids and I would have my Mom move in with me so she never has to worry about anything anymore.
5. I would pay off any debts for my brothers and sisters and buy houses for those that haven't had a chance to buy a home.
6. Contribute to charities and start some of my own (for children, the elderly, Cancer, Aids, etc.)
7. Travel!!!!!!
8. Have Thanksgiving and Christmas catered!!!!!!!
9. Take piano classes, dance lessons, art classes, learn Italian and French. I'll be the eternal student
10. Go to every single Broadway Show!

soapboxsallysmom is on a distinguished road
I'd buy some gold and silver bars, and some rental property, then a nice home for my daughter with a mother in law apt (for me), then pay off my kids student loans, then a couple of luxury cars, and a whole new wardrobe, then find myself a healthy, handsome and mature house husband/personal trainer

Ahhhh, a good imagination is a wonderful gift
Thanks for making my day with this post.

I'd probably buy a nice house in the mountains, set up my kids' education fund, give the rest of the money away, then spend the rest of my life on the porch reading good books.

1. Have my husband quit his job! (Boy! Would he love that! )
2. Pay off our debts.
3. Pay off the debts of our family members to give them a fresh start.
4. Buy some acreage with about a 1,500 sq. ft. house, (that's the size
my house is now, and I really don't want anything much bigger).
5. Indulge more in my hobbies, like collecting and reading books, writing, and
fly-fishing, which I am taking back up after many years of absence. Just
spending more time outdoors. (See, that's why I don't want too large a
house. Who wants to be cooped up inside cleaning all the time? And, no
I don't want to hire someone to clean for me. I like to do my own. )
6. Give alot of it to charities.
7. Put the rest in the bank to live off of the interest!

1) Give my parents a little money (they have enough already, I'm the one who needs it).
2) Pay off my cousin's college education and set up trust funds for each of my neices and nephews. And buy the one who just turned 16 a new Porsche and Hummer.
3) Buy my father the 1967 Corvette 427/435, 1968 Yenko Camaro, and 1970 Plymouth HEMI 'Cuda he dreamed of as a teenager.
4) Buy my mother a new Lexus LS460.
5) Buy a large ranch in Montana, a home in Houston close to my relatives, and a mansion in Hawaii.
6) Pay off my mortgage.
7) Buy a few dozen vehicles that I've always wanted.
8) Take a trip around the world with a few friends.
9) Buy some solid stock, more shares of Berkshire Hathaway.
10) Put the rest in the Swiss Bank Account.

Then just live my life, I'll probably keep my job. I'll also tell a few people to go where the sun don't shine.

Ohh...and I'll call my old classmates and rub it in their faces.
