Default Antique Blanket Chest

Hi, I need to fit an antique blanket chest into a trunk, am wondering if it can be safely taken apart, and reassembled. I am using the drawers for storage, but wondering if I could safely take the top and sides off of chest. Cannot really tell how they were assembled. Does anyone know how I can get it apart w/o destroying it? Then reassembled at arrival?

Thank you so much!!!
